The refreshing Sauvignon Blanc grape is perfectly at home in South Africa. The diverse growing regions make for wines that can be nice and grassy with plenty of grapefruit and green apple skins.  Douglas Green St. Anna Sweet White A deliciously rich and fruity natural sweet white blend, St Anna is glimmering gold packed with ripe tropical fruit fragrances and flavors and attractive floral and spice nuances. Full sweetness is well balanced by a pleasing crisp finish. The different grape varieties in this rare white blend are handled separately until when the final blending and bottling happens in Douglas Green cellars in Wellington.  Gentle alcohol makes this wine very approachable and easy drinking especially for wine lovers who prefer low volumes of alcohol. The absolutely approachable nature of this wine makes it popular with novice palates and even non-wine drinkers. This wine is produced from grapes collected in the Maipo valley and has spent eight months in old oak barrels, and possesses a rich fruit forward style. The nose lends cassis, ripe red cherry, tobacco and liquorice. The palate is full-bodied and intense. The tannins are fine and well balanced. There’s an explosion of black cherry, cassis and toasted spice on the finish. This wine drinks well after an hour in a decanter, and has the intensity to develop well in the bottle over the next few years. This red wine will captivate you with its expressiveness, its aromas of fresh red fruits and pleasant passage through the mouth. It has been carefully fermented to obtain a wine that is extremely pleasant on the palate and with a good balance between acidity and tannins. Find your ideal moment to enjoy a glass of Castillo de Liria because there is always something to celebrate.  It is a semi-sweet white wine made from the Viura (95%) and Malvasía (5%) varieties by Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres, under the Rioja designation of origin. It presents a very particular maceration and a slow alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks to achieve its maximum sweetness. In the mouth it unfolds with freshness and finesse with its discreet softness; a little bit of acidity highlights the harmony of flavors at the end of the tasting.
