Bannermans is made using older, more aged malt whisky than other blends, a blend of exceptional 5 – 6 year old whiskies, while the legal limit is 3yrs. This gives Bannermans a bolder, more complex flavour than other blends and helps create its wonderfully smooth, rich character.
| Years is a fine Spanish Oloroso wood and American oak to mature this rich, intriguingly fruity and robust oak expression, but there are many more reasons why this expression is special. Loads of fruit. Zesty grapefruit, baked toffee apples. Dry, chocolate Flake-y wood and cinnamon. Candied fruits and Glenfiddich freshness balances richer notes of dried apricot, more cinnamon and toffee, ginger and dry Sherry. If you want something that's caramely and smooth get Glenddifich 18yrs. It's awfully good, and it should satisfy a lot of different palates. |
